A program for young women concerned about breast health and those who support them.

If you are a young woman in your teens or early twenties or a mother, aunt, teacher, nurse or someone who cares about and supports young women this website is for you!

Here you will find basic information about breast cancer. But you will also find information about three important factors that can increase or decrease the risk for developing breast cancer in the future:

  • Nutrition

  • Physical Activity

  • Alcohol Consumption

You can find out what the research tells us + important ways you can look out for your own health.

Theres a Tool Kit that helps you take what you have learned, and start a campaign using fun activities and creative ideas to inform other young women about what you have learned or just pass along the information to friends and family.

So, if you are a young woman in your teens or early twenties, you may want to start your journey here.

If you are a mother, aunt, sister, or friend of a young woman in this age range and want to learn how to help her decrease her risks for developing breast cancer in her future, click here.

If you are a teacher, public health nurse, counselor or advisor who works with and supports young women in high school, college, university, or other group settings, find out about the Hook Up to Breast Cancer program and how you can implement a peer-led initiative in your setting, by navigating the different areas of the site.
